Trust the Seeds

February is Black History Month. MLK, Jr., paraphrasing nineteenth-century Unitarian abolitionist minister Theodore Parker, declared that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” How do we trust in the seeds we’ve planted in our anti-racist anti-oppression work? How do we keep tending them in the face of the continued violence of systemic white supremacy? How can White people become more trustworthy allies in racial justice work? In the wake of the 21st Annual Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit, Rev. Stephanie Gannon will explore some of these questions.
