This time of year is not “the most wonderful time of the year” for all of us. During this
time of celebration and joy, many of us may be struggling with grief, despair, loneliness,
depression, or many other emotions that are less than ‘merry and bright.’
This contemplative service creates space to recognize and honor the complicated and
challenging feelings that can arise during this season of joy.
ESUUC’s Annual Blue Holiday service is an opportunity to honor all of the feelings that
can arise during this season. You are invited to step into this contemplative space to
honor the complex and conflicting feelings. The service will include rituals involving
candles, fire and water along with times for reflection, meditation, mourning and
movement.
Time for fellowship and community will follow the service.
