Reproductive Justice

In commemoration of the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and the ongoing fight for reproductive health, rights, and justice, we join UU congregations across the country for a Sunday of solidarity, support, and reflection. With resources provided by the UU “Siding with Love” campaign.

Palestine and the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions Movement

Hannah M has done anti-occupation work and led over 30 delegations in Israel/Palestine. This presentation will review the history and current realities of the occupation as well as explore the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement for Palestinian freedom, justice, and equality.

Living with Intention: the Philosophy of John Dewey and American Pragmatism

Dr. Pamerleau’s discussion investigates why philosopher John Dewey’s views remain relevant to the topic of living with intention. Dewey would have us align science and philosophy to produce an approach to ethics that is forward looking and subject to constant revision, empowering us both as individuals and communities to intelligently direct our lives.

Multigenerational Fire Communion

On or near the first Sunday in January, many Unitarian Universalist congregations hold a ritual to bid farewell to the old year, and to release it. This multigenerational service will include a ceremony of the burning bowl in person, with an adaptation for folks who will attend on Zoom.

Christmas Vigil

The story- and song-centered service we traditionally hold on Christmas Eve is presented — this year it’s a few days early to make it easier see the children’s story “The Legend of Old Befana,” by Tomie dePaola. All ages are welcome!

The Joy of the Mystery: Women, Mysticism, and Hope

Mystics have a special connection to the divine. They come in all genders and are found in many of the world’s religions. Dr. Dave will highlight five women mystics from across the centuries and what secrets and wisdom they have to share about experiencing joy through intimacy with the divine and embodying social justice.
