The presidential election is in 9 days. Once again, we are fighting to keep democracy alive in America. We are down to the wire. It is NEVER too late to get involved. We’ll talk about last-minute actions we can take to increase voter engagement, thru UUtheVote and our Pennsylvania partners.
Aurora Borealis, or The Northern Lights, are a phenomenon that people Have observed and thought about since ancient times. We will explore different perspectives, both mythological and scientific, of this beautiful cosmological display.
Much of our suffering arises in part from people not truly listening to each other, themselves, and nature. We will learn from Buddhism how to listening deeply and thus experience healing of soul, body, and mind.
What is “Deep Listening” and how do we do it? We’ll learn more about how listening can be a skill, and we’ll talk about how this approach to communication can create space for spiritual connection. We may even practice together!
